Erasmus+ International Mobility - Staff Teaching at the Open University of Cyprus / Call for applications

The Open University of Cyprus announces a Call for Applications for the Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility (ICM) action “Staff Teaching Assignments”. 

In the framework of the abovementioned action and based on our Erasmus+ Inter-Institutional Agreements, OUC has secured funding to welcome incoming academic staff from Partner Universities in Tunisia to undertake teaching assignments at the programmes of study OUC offers this academic year (2022-2023).

Based on these IIAs, we would like to invite faculty members of your Universities interested to visit Open University of Cyprus for a short-duration teaching assignment to apply for an Erasmus+ grant.

Please note that Open University of Cyprus finances the Erasmus+ grant.

Master programmes offered in English:

·         Cognitive Systems

·         Educational Leadership and Policy

·         Enterprise Risk Management

·         Master of Business Administration

The rest of our programmes are offered in Greek, but subject to the approval of the Academic Coordinators, they can host invited guest lectures in English.

The deadline for submitting all applications / nominations to the OUC Mobility Office (erasmus@ouc.ac.cy) is the 18^th of March, 2023.

Interested academics should inform your International Relations Office, and you need to send a list of nominations to us.

All mobilities must be completed by July 31, 2023, but please bear in mind that our spring semester ends in late April, thus we would appreciate teaching programmes that can be undertaken until then.

Minimum duration is 5 working days, plus traveling.

Attached you will find the:

·         related procedures that we kindly ask you to disseminate to your faculty members,

·         “Staff Mobility for Teaching - Mobility Agreement” form – to propose a teaching programme that will be approved by the competent OUC Academic Coordinator.

Please inform your Faculty members of this opportunity, and note the following:

·         They will have to fill in an online application form (https://forms.office.com/e/3WXXztDu6V), and send us their proposed Erasmus+ Teaching Programme using the enclosed deadline.

·         Their Subject Area(s) must be included in our Erasmus+ Inter-Institutional Agreements.

·         Their teaching programme must be aligned with OUC Programmes of Study and Modules / Courses offered during the spring semester 2022-2023.

Since OUC can finance a limited number of beneficiaries (1 to 2), please nominate your most suitable academics.
